Peter Theron is a Principal Environmental Consultant with over 35 years experience and Director of the specialist environmental consulting firm Prime Resources (Pty) Ltd. Peter began his professional career as a specialist geotechnical engineer, mine residue deposits designer and later became involved in the technical aspects of mining and the environment. Implementation of environmental assessments, sustainable development, environmental project management, environmental due diligence and compliance auditing, geotechnical design, discard and waste management, mine closure and environmental costing are Peter’s main areas of specialisation
Gené Main
Principal Environmental Scientist | Project Manager (Registered EAP, no 2019/1257)
MSc Botany
Gené has 16 years of experience in the environmental sector with a large focus on international projects, environmental management, Environmental Impact Assessments, environmental and social compliance auditing, and mine closure. Gené has been involved in more than 20 due diligence projects on behalf of both financial institutions and mining companies, for contribution to Independent Technical Reports (ITRs) and Competent Person’s Reports (CPRs). Gené is experienced in the review and implementation of national legislation and international best practice.
Louise Jones

Louise has 10 years of experience in the environmental consulting sector, working on projects in the mining, industrial and waste management sectors. Her experience includes performance assessments, social and labour plans, financial liability assessments associated with mine closure and rehabilitation, environmental impact assessments and management programmes, environmental compliance auditing and water monitoring. Louise also has experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), which she utilises to conduct high-level environmental reviews to identify environmentally sensitive areas as well as to create various project maps
Stephan Geyer

Stephan has 7 years of experience. He has been involved in various aspects related to mine and waste residue management, across a range of commodities including gold, uranium, platinum, nickel, graphite, iron ore, coal, and anthracite. Areas of focus include geotechnical design, water- and mining residue management, technical review and due diligence processes aspects of various mining and waste projects.
Dr Bronwyn Grover
Senior Environmental Geochemist (SACNASP no 116334)
PhD Environmental Analytical Chemistry
Bronwyn has 6 years of experience in water monitoring, geochemical assessments of waste, water use and waste management licensing, and environmental impact assessments. Bronwyn has gained valuable experience in assessing and reporting impacts of mine residue stockpiles on surface and ground water systems.

Stephen has over 10 years of consulting experience. He has expertise in environmental authorisations, monitoring and compliance auditing with experience in several fields including large infrastructure, mining and the waste management.
Lindsay Lightfoot
Principal Social Consultant
MA Environmental Science
Lindsay has 11 years of experience in a range of projects in southern Africa. She has played a lead role in several large Environmental Impact Assessments, Socio-Economic Impact Assessments, Social and Labour Plans, Baseline Studies and Feasibility Studies, predominantly in the mining sector. She has also been involved in several social and environmental compliance and due diligence audits and has gained experience working to World Bank and IFC Standards.

BSc Honours in Hydrogeology Monique has experience in groundwater systems, environmental monitoring, laboratory work, reporting, auditing, ECO work, and various Environmental Authorisation processes.
